We all know it’s important to recycle, but it can sometimes seem like yet another chore to add to our list. While there is no magical way of making recycling seem super fun or exciting, there are ways to make it simpler and fit into our daily routine more easily.
Buying a compartmentalised bin which has separate sections for general waste and various forms of recycling will save you from having to separate out your entire collection of recyclables at the end of every week. Candles are experiencing somewhat of resurgence in popularity of late, with designer brands of scented handmade candles in jars selling for up to twenty-five pounds each. Candles make great presents and are enjoyable to use but you may be surprised to learn that they are in fact simple to make and can even be mixed with vintage or unused items to create a unique feature. The basic equipment and tools to make your own candles are readily available from craft shops or through the internet and will set you back less than twenty pounds. You can also buy the ‘raw’ materials from any good craft shop or online.
